This Return Policy outlines the conditions under which you may request a refund or return for digital products purchased from Rinseaetendonao through rinseaetendonao.shop. We are committed to ensuring customer satisfaction with our evening habit guides and wellness resources while complying with Finnish consumer protection law and European Union regulations on digital content.
1. Scope of This Policy
This Return Policy applies to all digital products sold by Rinseaetendonao, including but not limited to the Evening Routine Journal Guide (€24.90), Wind-Down Meditation Audio Set (€19.90), and Sleep Hygiene Checklist Bundle (€14.90). As all our products are delivered electronically in digital format, traditional physical return procedures do not apply. Instead, this policy governs refund requests and the exercise of your statutory right of withdrawal as a consumer in the European Union and Finland.
2. Nature of Digital Products
All products offered by Rinseaetendonao are digital goods delivered via email download link upon payment confirmation. These include PDF guides, printable worksheets, audio files, and checklists related to evening habits and well-being. Because digital content can be copied and retained after delivery, special conditions apply to returns and refunds as permitted under EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights and the Finnish Consumer Protection Act (Kuluttajansuojalaki 38/1978).
3. Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)
As a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within fourteen (14) days of the date of purchase without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires fourteen days after the day of the conclusion of the contract. Important exception for digital content: If you have expressly consented to the immediate delivery of the digital product and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal once delivery begins, your right of withdrawal ceases upon delivery of the digital content. At the time of purchase, you will be asked to confirm this consent before your download link is sent. If you have not given this consent, you retain your full fourteen-day withdrawal right even after delivery.
4. Refund Eligibility
You may be eligible for a full refund under the following circumstances: you exercise your statutory right of withdrawal within the fourteen-day period and have not consented to immediate delivery; the digital product file is corrupted, incomplete, or cannot be opened due to a technical error on our part; you received a different product than the one ordered; the product description on rinseaetendonao.shop was materially inaccurate or misleading; or duplicate payment was charged for a single order.
5. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will not be granted in the following situations: you consented to immediate delivery and the digital product was successfully delivered; the fourteen-day withdrawal period has expired; you are dissatisfied with the content of the guide but the product matches its description and functions correctly; you purchased the product for commercial use without a commercial licence; technical issues arise from your device, software, or internet connection rather than from the product file itself; or you have already received a refund for the same product in a previous request.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact Rinseaetendonao within the applicable timeframe by emailing hello@rinseaetendonao.shop with the following information: your full name and email address used for the purchase; order date and product name (e.g., Evening Routine Journal Guide); reason for the refund request; and any supporting documentation such as screenshots of technical errors. We will acknowledge your request within two business days and provide a decision within fourteen business days. If your refund is approved, we will process the reimbursement within fourteen days of approving your request.
7. Refund Method
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. If this is not possible, we will arrange an alternative refund method in consultation with you. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. The timing of the refund appearing in your account depends on your payment provider and may take an additional five to ten business days after we process the refund.
8. Partial Refunds
In certain circumstances, Rinseaetendonao may offer a partial refund. This may apply when a product bundle contains multiple components and only one component is defective or unavailable; when you have partially used a subscription-based service before cancellation; or when both parties agree that a partial refund represents a fair resolution. Partial refund amounts are determined on a case-by-case basis and communicated clearly before processing.
9. Product Updates and Replacements
If you experience technical issues with a downloaded product, we will first attempt to resolve the issue by providing a replacement download link or an updated version of the file. Product replacements are provided at no additional cost. If we cannot resolve the technical issue within a reasonable timeframe, you may then request a full refund under Section 4 of this policy. Rinseaetendonao also provides free updates to purchased guides when significant improvements or corrections are made.
10. Defective Digital Products
Under Finnish and EU consumer law, digital products must conform to the contract, be fit for purpose, and match their description. If a product is defective, meaning it does not meet these standards, you are entitled to have the product brought into conformity (e.g., by providing a corrected file), receive a price reduction, or terminate the contract and receive a full refund. 13. Consumer Protection
This Return Policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under Finnish and European Union law. If you are a consumer, mandatory provisions of the Consumer Protection Act and EU consumer directives take precedence over any conflicting terms in this policy. 14. Business Purchases
